ERRORE CWLAA9084 -ISC


ERRORE CWLAA9084 IN FASE D'INSTALLAZIONE DI ISC E ADMIN-CENTER

In fase di re-installazione della isc Integrate solution consolle
di tivoli storage manager, l'errore in oggetto è frequente.

In questo caso è necessario seguire la procedura passo passo,
per la corretta disinstallazione del prodotto e successivamente
procedere ad una nuova installazione.

1. First attempt to run the uninstaller.bat located in \_iscuninst

2. Check the Windows Services for the following two services. If they are there and are running, stop them:

IBM WebSphere Application Server V6 - ISC 6.0.1 Runtime Service
ISC 6.0.1 Help Service

3. Check the Task Manager for a java.exe process that is running, using around 200MB-300MB. If the ISC is the only java application that runs on this machine, end the process (if there is one running).
4. remove the ISC from the Windows Services (if they were there) by issuing the following commands:

sc delete "IBMWAS6Service - ISC 6.0.1 Runtime Service"
sc delete "ISC 6.0.1 Help Service"

5. delete the ISC601 directory and all its subdirs
6. delete all ISC*, ismp*, isj*, Portal* files/dirs in the temporary directory (this could be C:\temp, C:\WINDOWS\temp, or a dir specified in the users PATH).
7. check and unset any of the following environment variables if they point to an ISC dir. Use the 'set' command to list the environment variables and use 'set ENV_VAR=' (specify the variable and do not specify anything after the equals sign) to unset the variable:

ISC_HOME
WAS_HOME
JAVA_HOME

8. check the vpd.properties file located in C:\Windows and make sure it is clean of ISC entries

The ISC has now been manually uninstalled.
